Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As we welcome the season of Easter, a time of renewal, hope, and resurrection, I am inspired to reach out to you with a message of new beginnings and a vision for our future. My name is Paul Hassink, and I am excited to announce my candidacy to represent you in District 79 as your State Representative. This Easter, as we reflect on the power of renewal and the promise of rebirth, I am reminded of the critical crossroads at which we stand and the urgent need for leadership that embodies our core values and aspirations.
Raised as a first-generation American by World War II survivors, the ideals of freedom, resilience, and the American dream have been ingrained in me from a young age. My journey, deeply rooted in my Christian faith, has led me through three decades of dedicated service as a professional engineer and regulatory affairs expert.
My commitment to our community is driven by a deep understanding of the value of freedom and the critical importance of safeguarding it from overreach, whether it be from distant capitals or closer to home. I have been proud to represent Tulsa and Oklahoma on boards – where I ensure bureaucracies are not overstepping their duty to we the people – to which I have been appointed to by Mayor Bynum and Governor Stitt.
Over the years, I’ve spearheaded projects that have united thousands of workers across states, bringing innovative solutions to protect our power grid and prioritize our local needs above all else. Beyond my professional achievements, I’ve poured my heart into our community, founding the Little Saints Preschool in Texas, and dedicating myself to nurturing the next generation of leaders grounded in faith and integrity.
Today, as I step forward again to challenge the status quo, I bring with me not just a wealth of experience and a proven track record of innovative leadership, but also a steadfast commitment to the principles that define us: freedom, constitutional integrity, and the unwavering belief in the potential of our community to thrive.
Our district deserves a representative who listens, leads with conviction, and places the needs of our community above partisan politics. Together, we can forge a path that respects our shared heritage while boldly embracing the opportunities of tomorrow.
